Downhill Skiing
Jackson Hole,
Wyoming
This area, first tracked in the 1800's, has been
preserved from modern urbanization and is known as the Gateway to
Yellowstone and Teton National Forests. Taking a trip to Jackson Hole is
and adventure that goes back in time when the West was rugged and
wildlife roamed freely. The Old West spirit is alive at the Resort and
in the town with wooden boardwalks and cowboy hangouts. But in place of
roughrider shootouts, the adventures have become downhill descents.
Jackson Hole Mountain Resort flaunts some of the most
difficult terrain on the continent. Advanced skiers and riders meet
their match on the two peaks. In addition, the beginner and intermediate
skiers can enjoy the Resort's 22 miles of machine-groomed runs.
