SNOWMOBILE

Green Bay, Wisconsin

Anything but a frozen tundra, Green Bay’s location offers a temperate climate of warm springs and summers, cool autumns and yes, cold winters. But for those who love a change of seasons, the Green Bay area is about as picture-perfect as it gets. Springs usher in the greens and gentle rains reawaken the earth after a long winter’s sleep; summers can be as warm as any in Florida or California; and fall brings in cool days and the rich colors of changing leaves before winter sets in. For those who live here, the changing of seasons is welcomed with anticipation each and every year.

Winter wonderland is the best description of Green Bay from December to March. Groomed cross-country ski trails, riverside snow shoeing, snowmobile trail tours, ice fishing, sitting by the fire with a good book and a warm beverage are wonderland activities available at the ranch. Snowmobile rides explore groomed north woods trails on our state of the art snowmobiles.

 

SAMPLE ITINERARY

Day 1

2:00pm - 7:00pm – Best course of action is to make your way to base camp area on Friday night to make the early Saturday morning wake-up call as bearable as possible. Option to stay at resort or cabins along the river.

8:00pm - 10:00pm – Once everyone arrives, we will organize a hearty meal for you and the gang with plenty of time for toasts and stories

10:30pm - 11:30pm – After dinner, you can relax on the porch or hit one of the clubs or Sports bars near your lodging. Everything is within walking distance so nothing to worry about. You may even want to go exploring along some hiking trails that double as snowmobile trails

Day 2

8:00am - 9:00am – Head over to base camp and get briefed on a bit of snowmobile safety.

10:00am - 4:00pm – Head out onto the trails. We will be tackling both groomed and ungroomed trails. After stopping briefly at the Pub for lunch it is back on the trial for a few more hours of organized chaos.

4:00pm - 7:00pm - Settle down for a BBQ feast with champagne toasts.

7:00pm - 9:00pm - Hit the furnished lodge and break into a game of Texas Hold 'Em. Others might sit on the porch and share stories of the day's trip.

9:00pm - 12:00am – Spend the remained of the night listening to some live music or just sitting around the cabin sharing stories.

 Day 3

10:00am – 11:00am – After breakfast, head back into civilization via the scenic route for your chosen methods of departure after a weekend to remember.
