CHARTER FISHING

It's no wonder why Frank Sinatra described Chicago as his "kind of town."  Wrigleyville, Navy Pier, and Michigan Avenue are just a few Chicago places that offer distinct shopping, dining, and drinking opportunities.  Chicago keeps its residents entertained throughout the entire year.  Just imagine what the city could offer your adventure weekend.

After indulging in the Windy City's exciting nightlife, fish for salmon and trout on beautiful Lake Michigan. Captain Jerry and his crew always make sure that you catch fish and have a great time. Waters around Diversey Harbor are known for being some of the most productive in all of Lake Michigan. 

SAMPLE ITINERARY

Day 1

2:00pm - 7:00pm - Check into a hotel in the center of downtown Chicago and get the weekend started with happy hour.  Airport transportation is available.

 

8:00pm - 10:00pm - Off to a New American restaurant that highlights seasonal items on a constantly changing menu.  The restaurant is exudes charm and sophistication. High ceilings, a multi-level room, warm colors, and linen covered tables set the stage for the expertly prepared cuisine.

10:30pm - 11:30pm - Head down the block to Rush and Division where the bars are waiting for you. One option is Excalibur, formerly a church, makeshift morgue, and home to the Chicago Historical Society, Excalibur has a spooky, gothic feel, energized by disco balls, exotic prints, and bass-thumping melodies. Multiple bars serve swanky concoctions to locals, suburbanites, and out-of-towners.

11:30pm - 2:00am - Close the night out in a bar that has become a Chicago landmark. It sports a Prohibition-era decor, and low lighting sets the mood. The martini is the signature drink, and cabaret-style pianists and singers entertain nightly.

 

Day 2

7:00am - 8:00am - After wolfing down on a made-to-order breakfast, check out the sites of the city.

8:00am - 8:30am - Meet the captain at the Diversey for a day of fishing

9:00am - 6:00pm - Fish all day in Lake Michigan for all salmon and trout you can handle. This is one of the adventures where you can actually drink a few beers when the fish aren't biting.

5:00pm - 7:30pm - Relax and enjoy a unique meal as a professional chef cooks the fish that you just caught. Enjoy a microbrew or a glass of wine while the chef cooks the catch to your specifications, and the group reminisces about the day's events.

8:00pm - 2:00am - Head back to the hotel and out to the other half off the bars that did not throw you out the night before.

 

Day 3

8:00am - 9:00am - Meet the shuttle outside the hotel and enjoy a scenic ride back into airport for your departure after a weekend to remember.
