WHITEWATER RAFTING
Ft.
Collins, Colorado
Fort
Collins is the second largest producer of beer in a state that is known
for its brewpubs and microbrews. The downtown area is a thriving
business district with an ideal mix of restaurants, pubs, live music,
shops, businesses, and coffee houses.
Taste and enjoy a Fat Tire, 90
Shilling, Z Lager, or Poudre Pale Ale as you bounce from microbrewery to
microbrewery. For those who prefer something stronger, Ft. Collins has a
place that serves margaritas that will have you searching for your
whereabouts the next morning.
After the night of fun, raft
the class III, IV, and V rapids of Cache La Poudre River. The Upper
Poudre canyon is filled with pine and juniper meadows populated with Big
Horn sheep, eagles, and other wildlife. Don't spend too much time
looking for wildlife, or you'll end up in the drink.
