CATTLE WRANGLING
Colorado Springs, Colorado
Colorado Springs was founded
with the intention of creating a high quality resort
community, and was nicknamed, "Little London". America the Beautiful was
actually written by a visiting English professor, while visiting the top
of nearby Pikes Peak. That should cover
you when you get home to tell the wife what you learned and experienced.
As for the ranch, it is nestled
in a high mountain valley surrounded by pine and aspen forests. It is a
working cattle ranch comprised of Long Horns and Herfords. During your
stay you will step into the boots of a Cowboy and learn techniques for
horsemanship, marksmanship, roping and cattle work. If you get the work
done, there may be some time for a little R & R in the evenings.

leave your mark on the city.
8:00pm -

meal. Ok, that is not true. Throw some toasts out there to celebrate
your buddies last days of freedom.

your stuff at the lodge, get your jeans on and get ready to work
10:00am -
4:00pm – Once you get familiar with your trusty steed,
it is off into the pasture to learn the art of moving cattle. Bring the

the ranch for lunch. After lunch we will see who the crack shot in the
group is at the shooting range. Some of the ranch cowboys will educate
you on roping and other cowboy skills, while they are not laughing at
your city dweller antics.
4:00pm -

cowboy.
