CHARTER FISHING

San Diego, California

Dubbed by many as the only area in the U.S. with perfect weather, San Diego is the oldest port on the west coast and the sixth-largest city in the nation. In addition to rolling mountains, beautiful deserts, and seventy miles of coastline featuring some of the world’s best beaches, San Diego offers everything when it comes to nightlife. Whether you're looking for a country western bar, a hip dance club, or something in between, San Diego has what your looking for. 

As far as the adventure, reel in calico bass, halibut, rockfish, barracuda, and tuna under the direction of Captain Smitty during an eight hour fishing trip on the Pacific Ocean.  Don't be surprised if you are joined by some killer whales or porpoises as you venture out anywhere from 30 to 200 miles offshore.  Rods, tackle, licenses , and lunch are all included on this trip.

 

SAMPLE ITINERARY

Day 1

2:00pm - 7:00pm - Check into a hotel in the center of downtown San Diego's famous Gaslamp District and get the weekend started with a couple drinks at the open-air Gaslamp Tavern.  Airport transportation is available.

8:00pm - 10:00pm - Head over to Dakotas where you will be treated to a 3-course meal in a restaurant that draws all of San Diego's movers and shakers.

10:30pm - 11:30pm - After dinner, you make the call. Is it a club night at Broadway where chandeliers shed light on a sophisticated crowd while towering ceilings and huge planters add to an air of elegance.  Maybe Irish bars and jazz joints are your style, leading you in the direction of Dublin's and Whiskey Girl.

11:30pm - 2:00am - Looking for a tourist spot, you will find none better that Dick's Last Resort, where the picnic tables are filled and anything goes in this Saloon. If it is nice out, which it always is, sit outside and take in the view of San Diego, it always goes down smooth.

2:00am - 3:00am - Close the night out with a nightcap and some live rhythm and blues at Croce's Place. The ambiance is reminiscent of the village clubs in New York City and New Orleans French Quarter.

 Day 2

7:00am - 8:00am - After wolfing down on  breakfast, get the guys up for some San Diego exploring

8:00am - 8:30pm - Head over to Point Loma Marina to board your private charter.

9:00am – 5:00pm – Fish all day off the shores of San Diego for all fish you can handle. This is one of our adventures where you can actually drink a few beers when the fish aren't biting.

6:00pm – 8:00pm – Enjoy another fine dining experience.  Whether you are devouring a seared tuna steak or sipping on one of the famous rum runners,  make sure to take in some of the picturesque waterfront views from the restaurant.

8:00pm – 10:30pm – Back to GasLamp to shower up for another night of fun.

11:00pm – 2:00am – Close out the night at an outdoor tiki bar near the hotel. Recount the day's fishing stories or just listen to the waves break in the nearby ocean while you savor your last few drinks.

Day 3

8:00am – 11:00am – Take the shuttle to San Diego International airport for your chosen methods of departure after a weekend to remember.
