Golfing
Sacramento,
California
Since the gold
rush, Sacramento, CA has grown into a cosmopolitan state capital studded
with sleek steel and glass towers. Despite its growth and advancement,
Sacramento has stayed true to its roots by maintaining the tree-shaded
streets and elegant Victorian homes. The atmosphere and the food are
both top draws. A bustling bar and dance scene has the city hopping with
people every night of the week.
If the century-old heritage oaks in Sacramento Valley
could talk, they'd tell remarkable tales of players who have become
household names in the golf world and once teed it up at courses around
the city--names like Sam Snead, Al Geiberger, and George Archer. Where
Hogan himself won his first professional check--$350.00 for third place.
