CHARTER FISHING

Lake Tahoe, California

Framed by the towering peaks of the Sierra Nevada mountain range and centered around a gorgeous blue body of water, Lake Tahoe is a place of majestic beauty. Nightlife in South Lake Tahoe is created around the casinos. There is of course the gambling and show entertainment but don’t count out the clubs and lounge bars.

Our Captains are experienced in trolling, drifting, and jigging and they're here year-round to guide you to the lake's hot spots. Depending on the season, you can expect to catch Mackinaw (Lake Trout), Rainbow Trout, Brown Trout and Kokanee Salmon.

SAMPLE ITINERARY

Day 1

2:00pm - 7:00pm – Drive directly to hotel or fly into Reno airport and take the shuttle to your plush accommodations in South Lake Tahoe. Take in the view from the bar as you wait for the rest of the gang to arrive before it’s off to dinner and mayhem.

8:00pm - 10:00pm – Off to a steak dinner. Get all the beef you can eat as tomorrow is all about fish from sun-up to sun-down.

10:00pm - 11:30pm – The Tahoe Pub is a tiny, well, pub with a small bar and pool tables downstairs and live music upstairs. A large draft beer selection is a welcome sight after a day on the road. A planned night at the casinos could easily settle into a full evening at "the pub."

 

11:30pm - 4:00am – When club fever hits, Mont Bleu answers the call. Here, the biggest cues of Vegas are recreated – dancer cages, large dance floors and light shows tuned to tunes. They go until 4 a.m. The casinos, by the way, never sleep.

Day 2

7:00am - 8:00am – Open your eyes, try to recall what city you are in and roll out of bed for breakfast and view from the porch that beats any postcard. Remember what it is like to see for miles without layers of smog killing the view.

9:00am - 5:00pm – Head down to the dock, meet the captain and get up close and personal with that clear blue water everyone has been raving about since you told them you were going to Tahoe. How intense the fishing is dependant upon how tight the group tied it on the night before, but you only get to Tahoe a few times if lucky, so suck it up!

6:00pm - 8:00pm – Head back to shore with your fish for some candid camera moments to send back to the family. Clean off the fish and yourself for night 2 of the adventure

8:00pm - 10:00pm – Maybe seafood dinner tonight. We will point you in the right direction of some of the best places with a great view of the lake.

11:00pm - 2:00am* - Hit one of most popular locals spot to party. After 11, the small bar just north of the casinos can get jamming with residents.

 

Day 3

8:00am - 11:00am – Meet the shuttle for a ride to Reno Airport.
