WHITEWATER RAFTING
Kernville, California
Most elect to travel
up to Kernville the first night to be able to roll out of bed and into
the raft early Saturday morning. Kernville is a small town tucked in the
Southern California hills. Lots of charm and seclusion and a couple nice
restaurants and bars tucked in for good measure.
After a night of exploring, enjoy a scenic trip
further into the mountains before being deposited at base camp for the
beginning of your voyage on the Upper Kern River. The river runs 18 miles, you
will tackle the Upper section, making sure to hit some good Class III
and IV Rapids along the way.
