OFF-ROAD ATV
Scottsdale, Arizona
Rugged mountain ranges, Saguaro cacti that tower over
city streets, and sunsets more spectacular than you can imagine
characterize the Scottsdale landscape. To accompany the beautiful sights
and sounds, a plethora of clubs and bars make Scottsdale a perfect
destination.
As for the off-road, The Sonoran Desert is the most
biologically diverse of the North American deserts. Three distinct mountain ranges, the
Maricopa, Sand Tank and Table Top Mountains, as well as the Booth and
White Hills, all separated by wide valleys. The desert is also home to
three congressionally designated wilderness areas, many significant
archaeological and historic sites, and remnants of several important
historic trails. Plenty of places to explore in your ATV.
SAMPLE ITINERARY
Day
1
2:00pm -
7:00pm - Check into a hotel on the border between Old
Town Scottsdale and the new, hipper area full of restaurants and bars.
Airport transportation is available.
8:00pm -
10:00pm – Once everyone checks into your hotel, walk over to the bar district and meander through a happy
hour pub crawl on your way to dinner on the north end of downtown. Enjoy
steak or seafood for dinner as you catch up with everyone, joking about
who will bite it first tomorrow on the trail.
10:30pm -
11:30pm – After dinner, there are about 20 bars in a 3
block radius. We will give you our recommendations like Axis-Radius,
Mickey’s Hangover and Dos Gringos.
11:30pm -
2:00am – Start stumbling back towards the hotel and hit
one of the dive bars in Old Town before tucking in for the night
dreaming about sand in your teeth as you rip the trail tomorrow, all
while the House music is still banging in your head.
Day
2
8:00am -
9:00am – Get breakfast at the hotel and then board the
Bachelor Party shuttle out into the Sonoran Desert. Sign your life away,
and learn the art of controlling one of these mechanical beasts. This is
not some Disney Tour with a lead guide holding a microphone describing
the plant life…your armed and dangerous on this one.
10:00am -
3:00pm - You are in command of the ATV. Visit the most
serene mountains and lakes the Sonoran Desert has to offer. Experience
the trill of navigating through seasonal creeks, sandy washes, rocky
riverbeds, and rugged desert trails. Stop long enough to enjoy lunch.
4:00pm -
7:00pm – When you get back to the trail head, we will
hook you up with a meal in the desert where you can’t stop talking about
that one ridge you almost skidded off while laughing at your buddy
disembark from his vehicle.
7:00pm -
9:00pm – After you get your fill of food and atmosphere,
we will load you on the shuttle and head back to the hotel in Scottsdale
where you will back up the whole hotel’s plumbing with all the sand you
remove in the shower.
9:00pm
- 12:00am – Maybe something a little more chill tonight
like sitting on the patio at Devil’s Martini or The Drift. Heck you
might be so sore that you opt for the hot tub back at the hotel.
Day
3
10:00am –
11:00am – After grabbing breakfast, grab a shuttle back
to Phoenix airport and head back to home for a 12 hour nap before work
on Monday.
