SAMPLE ITINERARY

Day 1

2:00pm - 7:00pm – Arrive in Anchorage, check-in and regroup for a few beers at happy hour before heading off to dinner. You deserve a cold one after listening to that baby crying all the way from New York.

8:00pm - 10:00pm – Gather together with the gang and enjoy a private dinner in one of the most natural settings you can find in the US, except for the one you will see on day 2. Looking up from your meal, you can see one of the only active volcanoes left in the US, Mt. McKinley .

10:30pm - 12:00am – Off to Chilkoot Charlie's. It has been Alaska's most famous nightspot for decades. After an evening here, you'll understand why. Though it's expanded and become a bit mainstream, the rustic (dingy?) bare wood, keg bar-stools, and sawdust maintain its Alaskan flavor.

12:00am - 2:00am – Other than 'Koot's, Hot Rods is the bar and dance club for those in their 20s and 30s. Tons of theme nights, pool, and good rowdy fun. A cornerstone of the Anchorage single scene

Day 2

7:00am - 8:00am – Board the Sea Plane for a 20 minute flight into the Mat-Su Valley. You will feel like Indiana Jones off on his next adventure in search of some ancient relic.

8:00am - 9:00am – Check into your cabins. Each cabin is tastefully furnished and ensures your comfortable stay with us. The main lodge features a great room for entertainment and meals, with a deck that overlooks the creek.

9:00am – 5:00pm – The unique proximity of our lodge to area Lakes, Rivers and Streams eliminates the need for expensive fly outs. Our assortment of native fish species is truly astounding, including wild native King Salmon, Chum Salmon, Sockeye Salmon, Silver Salmon, Pink Salmon, Arctic Grayling, Rainbow Trout, Steelhead, Northern Pike and much more!

5:00pm - 7:30pm – After a long day on the river or walking the trails relax in our Sauna. We offer all the modern comforts of any lodge in the lower 48.

8:00pm - 10:30pm - We take great pride in insuring a world class culinary experience and will make you feel as though you have your own personal chef. Like everything else you will experience while at the Lodge, our food and beverage offerings will delight your senses and enrich the enjoyment of your Alaskan experience.

11:00pm - 2:00am - After dinner sit out on the deck and share stories under a clear sky. You could never have imagined how many stars are truly visible outside of the city limits

Day 3

6:00am - 7:00am – After wolfing down on a hearty breakfast, it will be time to gather your gear for a day of fly fishing

7:00am – 5:00pm – Seasoned fly fishing guides will lead you in pursuit of numerous fish species at the hottest fishing holes at our area lakes, rivers and streams in the breathtaking Mat-Su Valley of Alaska. Your fly fishing excursions are typically accessed via river boats.

5:00pm – 6:00pm – Our guides will clean, package and freeze your salmon for transport. Be sure to bring a cooler along if you want to take fish home with you. We can arrange to have your fish processed or smoked.

6:00pm – 8:00pm – Another fabulous dinner along the creek, before getting a good rest for travel back to civilization the next day.

Day 4

6:00am - 7:00am – Catch the Sea Plane back to Anchorage for your method of transportation.
